Watermiser forms partnership with local Cycle Station

We are delighted to have formed a partnership with local social entreprise, Cycle Station. We help them and they help us.

Some of the team at Dustacco and Watermiser had suggested we join a cycle to work scheme. When researching all the options we found that Cycle Station offered something unique and it was brilliant that they are based right here in Newmilns!

The partnership gives us many benefits and Cycle Station share many of our values:

• Our employees can find a great range of affordable new and used bikes for themselves and their families.
• Cycle Station allow customers to trade up their childs’ bikes when a bigger size is required.
• Cycle Station keep bikes out of landfill and promote a circular economy.
• Cycle Station are invested in providing cycle training for all, work experience and youth opportunities in the local area.

We also funded a Dr Bike session from our site (pictured), giving a cash donation for the servicing and repair of over 20 of our employees’ bikes. This encouraged staff to dig their old bikes out the shed and get them ready for summer!
