Design to Completion

Watermiser provides a full design and installation service which can be taken from the initial site survey right through to project delivery and client handover.

Our team of experienced and highly skilled design and site engineers can offer advice from correct system design and turnkey delivery, right through to helping the duty holder to run an efficient and compliant water cooling system.

Our services include but are not limited to:

Site Survey

An initial survey of your existing tower will allow us to understand your process and establish the scope of supply required from us.

Such a survey allows Watermiser to discuss options and possible (or potential) process changes with the client to ensure that the best solution is sought.

Design and Proposal

Once we have an understanding of your requirements, we can prepare an initial design proposal and accompanying quotation, with recommendations and options for consideration.

Design Only

Given the ever-changing nature of process or production demands in our clients’ systems, coupled with Health, Safety and Environmental drivers, we can offer a ‘design-only’ service as part of a wider viability or improvement project. The design team operate a range of 3D design software packages such as Revit, Plant 3D, CADmep, Advanced Steel and Navisworks which allows us to provide 3D models (BIM compliant if required) of your process facility.

We also offer 3D laser scanning as part of our design service which involves carrying out a non-invasive data capture survey which generates 3D point cloud data with accuracy to within 2mm. Outputs can then be produced to suit your requirements in multiple formats such as 3D CAD models/drawings (again, BIM compliant if required), 2D drawings, 3D Fly-Through Animations or Virtual Reality models.

Manufacture and Installation

On contract award, a dedicated in-house Project Manager will be assigned to the project, and the design team will prepare a detailed design for approval and manufacture according to the agreed programme.

Depending on the agreed scope, Watermiser will commence procurement and design of supplementary and ancillary product including access metalwork and pipework by our sister Company, Dustacco, prior to mobilising to site for installation by our experienced team.

Such additional scope items might include:

• Pipework
• Pumps and valves
• Heat exchangers
• Water filtration equipment
• Support steelwork and access metalwork packages
• Electrical control equipment

Commissioning and Project Handover

On completion of the installation and service connections, detailed commissioning is carried out to ensure that all areas of our scope of supply are working to design and to the clients’ requirements ahead of formal project handover and sign off.

Post-Installation Service

Final project handover doesn’t mean the end of our relationship. We are keen to hear feedback and to offer ongoing inspection and maintenance services, so we will keep in touch and we hope you do too.
